Music is played to fertilised eggs and developing embryos in the incubator. Among the pieces there are Beethoven, Mozart and Bach, but also some heavy sounds- for example Metallica. The music has a density of 60 db (as usual conversation), which makes the drops of the medium in which the embryos are located vibrate.
- Music is a natural stirrer for the medium, which is a drop of nutritive fluid in which the egg floats. Thanks to it they disperse, among others. Metabolic products whose condensation might not be suitable for the growing embryo and thus affect the success of fertilization. This way we eliminate the risk of embryo growth disorders – says the specialist.
Music also recreates the conditions that are found in woman's body. In natural conditions mature egg cell moves to the uterus thanks to peristalsis of the fallopian tubes and cilia movement. The vibration of the music from the speakers mimics this movement.
